This page explains Julia’s technique, which AS Company pigment lines she works with for Powder Brows and Lip Blush, and what colour looks like on the day of your appointment versus once it is fully healed — so you can book with a clear picture of the visit and the weeks that follow.
Powder Brows
Soft powdered brows
A calm walk-through of the technique, your visit, the pigments Julia uses, and how colour settles as you heal.
01 · What it is
Soft pixel-shaded powder finish
Powder Brows are created with a machine using soft pixel shading. The finish fills and softens the brow shape so the healed result reads like powdered makeup — soft, even and makeup-like — not individual hair strokes.
Are powder brows the same as microblading? No — microblading = hair-like strokes with a manual tool; powder = soft pixel shading with a machine.
About 1.5 hours in total, including consultation and mapping.
02 · Your visit
Step by step
- Consultation Skin type, any previous PMU, and the softness you want are discussed before anything is drawn.
- Mapping The brow shape is drawn and agreed with you before any colour begins.
- Numbing A topical anaesthetic is applied so the procedure stays as comfortable as possible.
- Procedure Soft pixel shading is built in passes until the planned powder finish is in place — about 1.5 hours total including consult and mapping.
- Aftercare Clear home-care guidance is explained before you leave, so you know how to look after the brows in the first days.
03 · Products
AS Company · Opium Colors for brows
The full AS Company pigment range is available. For Powder Brows, Julia works with Opium Colors and other AS Company brow pigments as suited to your features and undertone. Shade is chosen with you — calm examples of how undertone guides the mix, not a fixed catalogue of codes.

04 · Colour over time
Immediate vs healed
- Day of / immediate Colour looks stronger, darker and more defined than the final healed result.
- First days Brows may look intense. Keep them completely dry for the first 24 hours, then apply a very thin layer of Vaseline once daily for 7–10 days with clean hands.
- Peeling phase Colour can look uneven or lighter for a while — this is normal as the skin renews.
- Once fully healed Colour settles softer and truer to the planned result.

05 · Touch-up
When colour is refined
A touch-up can be booked 1–3 months after the initial procedure, once fully healed. After 3 months it is a Colour Refresh at full price. See prices.
Lip Blush
Soft even lip colour
How Lip Blush works, what happens in the chair, which AS lip lines Julia uses, and how colour softens as lips heal.
01 · What it is
A natural flush, not a drawn outline
Lip Blush adds soft, even colour designed for a healed natural flush — enhancing your own lip tone rather than painting a sharp lipstick outline.
About 2.5 hours in total, including consultation and mapping. Sensitivity varies from person to person.
02 · Your visit
Step by step
- Consultation Natural lip tone, undertone and the softness you want are assessed together.
- Mapping / shape Shape and colour direction are agreed before the procedure begins.
- Numbing Topical anaesthetic is applied; comfort still varies from person to person.
- Procedure Soft even colour is built for the healed result — about 2.5 hours total including consult and mapping.
- Aftercare Lip care is explained before you leave: lip balm only during healing.

04 · Colour over time

- Peeling / uneven phase Colour can look patchy or lighter for a time — temporary and expected.

05 · Caution
Cold sores
No Lip Blush during an active cold-sore outbreak. If you have ever had or may have had cold sores, tell Julia before booking. Read FAQ.
06 · Touch-up
When colour is refined

Healing & aftercare
How colour settles
Healing is part of the result. Immediate colour is stronger; once fully healed it softens. Follow the aftercare for your service so the pigment settles evenly.
Powder Brows
Keep dry, then thin Vaseline
Keep brows completely dry for the first 24 hours. From the following day, apply a very thin layer of Vaseline once daily for 7–10 days with clean hands — no excess product. Do not pick or rub during peeling.
Lip Blush
Lip balm only
Moisturise with lip balm only during healing — nothing else. Peeling or uneven colour is temporary; the healed flush is softer than day-one colour.
